Dramatic design elements in a stunning white french inspired kitchen.
This home is located in a beautiful old neighborhood in Portland Oregon. This neighborhood named Laurelhurst was established in 1909. This coveted neighborhood compromised of approx. 430 acres, and known by its many landmarks such as a colossus statue of Joan of Arch, and its beautiful park.
This home we were so lucky to be a part of its history was built in 1927. There were a lot of obstacles to overcome with the home age. We had to design the space and not disturb the exterior because of its historical significance.
First Ovation Design-Build looked all all the homes systems and upgraded as necessary. The electrical system was one example giving a better receptacle layout and lighting. Cabinetry was designed trying not to miss a singe detail and was by enhanced with enkeboll wood craved moldings at crown and custom hood. Custom made Appliance garages with pocket doors for easy open access and open counter space. Made deep enough to hold all appliances microwave, toaster, coffee maker making the counter clear of clutter. This very french design with white cabinetry a sure classic for years to come.
